The Curvy Revolution is a Body Acceptance Movement created in 2008 by self-acceptance advocate and award winning producer KeKe Dillard also founder of the nation’s largest size acceptance organization. The Curvy Revolution hosts yearly interactive event experiences built to celebrate, inform, and inspire plus size women while connecting with companies, brands and supporters that are beneficial to the every day woman through mainstream mediums.
About the Founder:
Once Named one of Detroit’s most influential people under 30 Keke Dillard is the founder of the nation’s largest plus size organization, Entrepreneur, Philanthropist, Womens’ Advocate, and Award Winning Producer. Best known for her celebrity driven events and elaborate productions, the marketing and branding guru started off at the tender age of 16 developing small community websites for classmates in high school. Those small websites caught the big eye of California based marketing company who in turn offered Ms. Dillard a career in the fast paced marketing industry. Ms. Dillard’s uncanny ability to build up brands caught the attention of many companies in varies industries which lead to a over 10 year span of working with various brands, celebrities, and television networks. Noticing the lack of plus size women in media stream media, Keke created a organization called “Full Figures” that now 6 years later is the largest organization in the world dedicated to plus size women with over 40,000 members. Various projects has spanned from this creation including a plus size modeling agency “House of Curves”, an international empowerment convention “The Curvy Revolution”, a pageant “Miss Curve”, and several programs all dedicated to enrich the lives of plus size women so Ms. Dillard can see other women like herself in any aspects of her endeavors. Ms Dillard is a proud board member of the Michigan Fashion Industry Council and former board member of the United Nation Association of America.
The Curvy Revolution’s Curvy Convention is a bi yearly Convention held over a weekend in Las Vegas. The extravagant weekend includes empowering work shops, dynamic speakers, an exhibition, charity event, varies parties, networking mixers, and fashion show all geared toward empowering women. The Convention has undeniable brand recognition with the largest following for any plus size event to-date. The Convention‘s 2010-2011 promotional run reached over 4 million women worldwide, seen in over 2 million homes directly and in over 800 plus size retail stores. The Curvy Convention’s Model search was held across the United States and in 3 other countries. 2011 attendees traveled from 7 different countries making the Curvy Revolution’s Curvy Convention the most globally recognized plus size event in history.

Launched 2012 the Curvy Tour is a bi yearly promotional run of events held in cities across the USA leading up the Curvy Revolution Convention. After a Spectacular show in Las Vegas the Curvy Revolution comes home to Detroit! April 7th kicks off a string of nation wide events leading up to the 2nd edition of the Curvy Revolution Convention. The spring themed kickoff event is hosted in Detroit, the city of the brand’s creation, and have already received over 700 model hopefuls to its casting. The beautiful plus size super model Christina Mendez, currently in production for this year’s BET’s Rip the Runway, will MC the event.
